This policy explains how FCnoise LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit financecup.fcnoise.com or submit a captain registration for the CFL Finance Cup.

1. What we collect

When you fill in the captain registration form, we collect:

• Company name
• Captain full name
• Corporate email address
• Phone number
• How you heard about us (drop-down selection)
• Intent (Register, Ask questions, Sponsor)
• Optional notes (free-text field)

We also collect anonymous, aggregated analytics via Google Analytics 4: page views, scroll depth, button-click events, device type, approximate location (city-level). No personally identifiable analytics data is collected.

2. How we use it

• To respond to your captain inquiry and coordinate your team's registration
• To communicate match logistics, schedules, and edition updates throughout the season
• To improve the website and understand which content captains find useful
• To comply with legal obligations (tax, business records)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not run ad-retargeting pixels.

3. Who we share with

• Netlify — hosts this website and receives form submissions on our behalf. Netlify Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — receives anonymized usage data. Google Privacy Policy.
• Email providers (Google Workspace, etc.) — when we email you about your team.

We do not transfer your data outside the United States except through these standard service providers.

4. Your rights

You can request at any time to:

• See what data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Opt out of any future communications

5. California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of any "sale" of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

6. EU / UK residents (GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, our lawful basis for processing your data is your explicit consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in operating the league and communicating with registered captains.

7. Cookies

We use minimal cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (`_ga`, `_ga_*`) to measure unique visitors. You can block these via your browser settings or with an ad-blocker without breaking the site.

8. Children

This service is intended for adult professionals (18+) in the finance industry. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered captains.
